Financial Policy

Dental treatment is an excellent investment in an individual's medical and psychological well being. Financial considerations should not be an obstacle to obtaining this important health service. Being sensitive to the fact that different people have different needs in fulfilling their financial obligations, we provide the following options.

1. Payment at time of service. A 5% fee reduction is offered for paying at this time. We will estimate your co-pay and deductible if you have insurance and that is due at the time of service. This payment can be made with cash, check, or bank card. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover Card.
2. We also offer a third party financing for larger cases through Capital One. You can apply on line, by phone or at our office.

Insurance

We accept assignment of insurance benefits. We cannot bill your dental insurance unless you bring in all correct insurance information at the time of service. We will help you to receive maximum benefits by filing claims for you. If insurance has not paid within 60 days, the balance becomes your responsibility.

Dr. Velis accepts most insurance plans. He is a preferred provider for Washington Dental Service, Delta USA, Premera Blue Cross of Washington and United Concordia. Dr. Baird is not a participating provider for any insurance. If you have questions about your particular insurance, please check with your insurance company prior to your appointment.
