Preventive Dentistry

We provide thorough exams and we use digital x-rays which reduce the time and radiation. Our team of registered dental hygienists will clean your teeth and provide you with home care instructions. We provide non-surgical treatment for periodontal (gum) disease and work with all local periodontists for more extensive cases.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Tooth Whitening

We offer both in office and take home tooth whitening procedures. The in office treatment is a great way to brighten your smile in a short time. It requires about 45 minutes of prep time and actual bleaching time under a light of up to an hour. The at home method uses trays and gel. Used once a day, you will have a whiter smile in about 3 weeks to 4 weeks. It is also possible to bleach teeth that have darkened due to a previous root canal by internal bleaching.

Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are thin but durable porcelain layers placed on your front teeth. These can improve your smile dramatically. This can correct color variances as well as tooth misalignment.

Restorative Dentistry

Tooth-Colored Fillings

We use tooth-colored fillings that are very strong and natural-looking.

Root Canal Therapy

This is a treatment to save a tooth. While many people fear root canals, with modern techniques patients are able to receive treatment comfortably. We also offer Nitrous Oxide and Oxygen analgesia (laughing gas).

Crowns and Onlays.

When a tooth has too much loss of tooth structure, it may be necessary to do a crown or onlay rather than a filling. These can be aesthetically pleasing as well as functional.

Implants

Dental implants are an advanced and natural tooth replacement system. Most patients who are missing one or more teeth are now good candidates for dental implants. We work closely with the oral surgeon or periodontist who places the implant and then we construct the final replacement crown or bridge.

Nitrous Oxide

We offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) which helps to reduce anxiety during dental treatment. Oxygen is used at the end of the appointment so you are able to drive home afterward. We can also offer anti-anxiety medication if needed.

Temporomandibular Joint Disorder

The TMJ is a joint near the ear that allows your mouth to open and close. It can develop a chronic degenerative disease that often takes years to develop and sometimes can happen as a result of an accident.

Chronic headaches, especially when awakening, neck aches, earaches, shoulder and back pain can all be symptoms of TMJ disorder. Most cases can be treated with a nightguard which can give dramatic results and pain relief.
